City Wide Clean Up
The Arma City Council has approved the week April 26-30 for the City wide clean up. The City of Arma employees will go door-to-door to pick up items you wish to discard. You will need to have your items out to the curb by 7:00 a.m. on Monday, April 26. The city employees will start on the east side of town and they will work their way to the west.
Items Allowed for Pick-up:
Furniture, metal, water heaters, electronic devices, and household appliances will be picked up. Refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners MUST have the compressor removed from the unit.
Items NOT Allowed for Pick-up:
City employees will not pick-up general household trash, paint, oil, chemicals, tires, and construction debris.
All brush and limbs can be set at the curb anytime of the year and the city employees will pick them up when time allows. Please remember that limbs need to be no longer than 8’ and leaves are bagged in decomposable bags, no plastic. Call City Hall at 347-4125 to have your name added to the list. Brush and limbs put out during the City wide clean up need to be separate from the other items. Please keep all items away from electric poles, natural gas meters, and water meters.
