Celebrate Youth KID OF THE WEEK

We want to nominate  Danni Cole, Arma, Ks., for being a very outstanding youth. Danni is a junior at Northeast High School, Arma. She always has a big smile for everyone she meets or sees.

Danni is active in our Arma United Methodist activities. She is a member of the Jolly Sunflower 4-H Club, vice-president of the NEHS Spanish Club, member of the National Honor Society.

Danni plays in the NEHS Jazz Band and in sports programs of the school. She is on the volleyball, basketball and softball teams.

Danni also works at Chicken Marys, and in season, is a lifeguard at Arma's swimming pool.

Nadine and Jim Jones,  Arma, Ks.

Steve and Susan Cole definately did something right in their upbringing of their daughter Danielle "Danni." A Junior at Northeast High School in Arma, Danni has been nominated for our "Kid of the Week" by Nadine and Jim Jones, friends of the family. Mrs. Jones had many nice things to say about Danielle, but probably the thing that stands out most is the fact that Danni always has a smile on her face. She is a sweet, friendly young lady who is always happy and has a way of bringing joy to those around her.

Danni keeps extremely busy, keeping her grades high enough to be a member of the NEHS National Honor Society. Other activities include the Jolly Sunflower 4-H Club, NEHS Spanish Club, where she serves as Vice President, volleyball, basketball, softball and NEHS Jazz Band.

Danni's father Steve is Pastor of the Arma United Methodist Church where she is also extremely active. During a recent holiday drive for the needy, an enormous amount of clothing was donated. Danni and Charlotte Culbertson picked up the ball and organized the clothing, making the entire event run much smoother.

Additionally, she has had the opportunity to accompany her parents on mission trips to different countries and has enjoyed the chance to serve in this capacity.

In addition to school and church, Danni works at Chicken Mary's and is a lifeguard at Arma Swimming Pool during the summer.

Danni has a younger brother, Ben. She and her family have lived in Arma for about seven years.

A special young lady, Danielle Cole is a bright spot in any situation she happens to be in. We are proud to honor her as this week's "Kid of the Week".   Back to Top
